The NBAA/Ohio Central Division Weekend Challenge Tournament Directors will be on hand to answer questions about the upcoming 2010 Tournament Season and sign up new Members.The “Anglers Swap Meet” is open to all, & will be open from 10am-1pm, so clean out those tackle boxes and storage containers to sell, or trade your extra gear!
Paul’s Marine Inc. will provide lunch & a special drawing for door prizes for those in attendance!

1st Annual Open
At Buckeye Lake – 4-17-10!
Here it is, the Buckeye Outdoors Marine 1st Annual Open at Buckeye Lake on Saturday April 17th, 2010!
I KNOW, I KNOW….you’re asking why I’m putting this out months in advance?? Well…after serious consideration the answer is simple! We wanted to give y’all (our NBAA/OCDC friends) FIRST SHOT at getting your entry fee in ASAP…before this HUGE EVENT goes public!
Since this 1st Annual Event hosted by Buckeye Outdoors Marine, NBAA National Tournament Trail, and The NBAA/OCDC is a 100% PAYBACK Tournament, slots are going to fill up FAST, and the top starting positions will go faster than my NITRO 898 cruising down Kentucky Lake on a calm, windless day! (and that’s fast!) We’re going to co-host this awesome Tournament like no other Event that Central Ohio has seen in recent history!
***NOTE: We’ve already received SEVERAL entries and will be limiting this event to 75 TEAMS!***
GET YOUR ENTRIES IN ASAP!
Let me give you a few of the details:
· Buckeye Outdoors Marine in Hebron, Ohio will be open their doors at 4:00am for registration
(you’ll have until 6:30am to register at the store, shop, and enjoy Yum-ee Donuts & Coffee!)
· After registration, all Teams will trailer to the Rt. 79 (State) North Shore Ramp
(we’ll be there to inspect livewells and send you out at “safe light”)
· The Tournament will end at 3:00pm and you’ll trailer your boat
(you’ll be provided a card with your boat # and amount of fish caught)
· All Teams will then trailer back to Buckeye Outdoors Marine for weigh in
(this is where you MUST have your check in card to weigh your catch!)
· NBAA National Tournament Trail will have their weigh in “stage” set up in the parking lot..this is COOL!
(Just like the “Big Boys”, you’ll walk up on stage, one by one as your weight is announced!)
· For each of you we’ll have 2 hot dogs, chips, & a drink available for only 5 bucks!
(proceeds will go to The Annehurst Swim Team and is TAX DEDUCTIBLE!)
· Many local & National fishing related vendors will be on hand!
(you will see exciting new items available!)
After that, you won’t have to handle your fish, we will!
(We’re working with ODNR to provide a hatchery truck to transport ‘em back!)
With a 1st Place payout of $2,000.00 (with only 50 Teams participating!), and paying 5 places, we feel this is going to be the LARGEST SPRINGTIME OPEN in Central Ohio…EVER! Buckeye Outdoors Marine will supply plaques for 1st thru 3rd Place & Big Bass and there’ll be plenty of COOL door prizes available too!
So…if your wanting to fish a PREMIUM Tournament in the Spring at Buckeye Lake, and want a “preferred starting position”…get your entry fee in NOW! (entry fee is $75.00 per Team with an optional $10.00 Big Bass Pot!)

Championship Week 2010 Announced!
Patoka Lake - Jasper, Indiana!
All of us here at NBAA/OCDC are very excited to announce that Championship Week 2010 will be held on Patoka Lake near Jasper, Indiana. Jasper, Indiana is approximately an hour south of Indianapolis and is a fantastic community. Patoka Lake which is just minutes away from Jasper is widely known for its big bass and superior fishing. For more information about Jasper, Indiana in Dubois County please go to www.visitduboiscounty.com.
With strong community support and a fantastic fishery like Patoka this is already shaping up to be one of the best NBAA championships ever! Along with the support of Jasper Indiana in Dubois county the host weigh in site on Patoka Lake will be Hoosier Hills Marina. This great event will take place in the Spring of 2010 and the tentative dates are below:
